Inspiration
Combination of the popularity of fitness apps and the 2022 app "BeReal." We wanted to make a modern and exciting version of a fitness app by combining the social media aspect of apps into workout challenges.
What it does
It keeps users accountable by gaming fitness. The app motivates users to complete exercise routines
How we built it
Using react js for the frontend and firebase for the backend
Challenges we ran into
initially, we attempted to do an app version with Swift. We underestimated the difficulty of developing an application for the first time in this language and environment. Around midnight basically started over but building the application with react js
Accomplishments that we're proud of
teamwork, stayed motivated despite disappointing results, tried till the bitter end, lack of sleep
What we learned
Not underestimate new technologies, plan ahead, cater more to the skill set of the group member actually posses
