Inspiration

Two years ago I started going to the gym and immediately started looking for a way to log my progress so I can have a clear overview of what exactly changed. Since I'm a programmer, I found it harder to look for an existing solution than to code one myself, so was born Resist, which then became BeFit

What it does

The app has one main goal: become a personal fitness copilot. It helps people track and create workouts, gives them a lot of informations about their progress.

How we built it

As I have a full-time job, most of my time on the app is spent on breaks or watching TV in the evening. The tasks are noted as “Todo” in the code and the tools used are essentially Figma and VS Code.

Coming up with something really simple UX wise yet powerful enough to cover the user's needs

What we learned

Good things take time and test every code you write, even if it seems trivial, especially when you write that code after a day working full time as a software engineer.

What's next for BeFit

The project is still in it early stages. We plan to add workout routines, nutrition programs, and more ! Our ultimate goal is to become the super app for personal wellness.
