Inspiration
We are inspired to create an e-commerce website because of the convenience it gave us. To have the ability to shop anywhere, anytime. So we would like to try our best in creating one!
What it does
Beezy E-commerce is a simulated e-commerce web application that aims to accurately replicate the functionality of a real E-commerce web application
How we built it
We first try to draw up a rough idea of how the web application works, as well as the user interface design. Then we built it with the use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, while using the Express node web framework.
Challenges we ran into
Most of the challenges we faced were involved with the merging of all our different codes and understanding how the overall codes work. Although we were almost there for implementing google login, we ran into issues with validating the google token with Jason Web Token which made our google login incomplete.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we managed to integrate a way to send emails automatically, apply dynamic SQL for the search function, and make PayPal sandbox purchases work.
What we learned
As a team, we learned how to work together, and learned a lot through coding as well.
What's next for Beezy E-commerce
We will further improve Beezy e-commerce and make it a more realistic e-commerce website application.
