Inspiration

Often times many students are not able to attend office hours/tutoring due to various classes or commitments. Due to the lack of easy accessibility, we thought it would be helpful to create a 24/7 tutoring service that is specifically tailored to you.

What it does

This website links students with tutors that are students who also took those same classes they require help on. This in turn also encourages more tutors to participate, allowing us to donate $5 per five tutoring sessions to the GreaterGood foundation for saving bees.

We used React.JS, Html, CSS, Figma

Working on the userflow of our website, creating database for users.

We are proud to create a tutoring service that specifically is tailored to sustainability living for our generation and contributes to the environment and the habitats of bees.

What we learned

Throughout this inspiring process, collectively as a team we learned how to work together in a time-constrained environment to create UI/UX design, use React.JS, and Github.

What's next for BeeWise Tutoring

BeeWise tutoring aims to enlargen our vision to be able to help more people at a larger-scale. This would require some additional components that we would love to add given more time: Ability for tutorees to rate their tutors; To allow for high quality services; Real time collaboration tools;Trained AI chat-bot. In addition, we would love to work on more ways to promote sustainability and help decrease and raise awareness about deforestation that affects bee environments. This could include more incentives to use the app.
