Our team was brought together by our workplace - different characters, common goals. Some are competitive, some are creative, some are hard-working. What we all have in common is that we love where we live and we try to make it a better place. This motivated us to bring the BeeLocalHero app to life. Civic activity is fading among young people (too), so we are raising awareness of its importance with a digital solution that is close to them. Different categories of tasks and events can be fulfilled to make our communities more liveable and lovable.

The basic idea had been in our minds for a long time, so we started by defining the MVP. This was followed by a functional specification. Then came the design phase, followed by the implementation.

We found the competition call at the end of August, so we tried to implement sufficiently useful functionality in a short time. Our backlog contains a number of opportunities for further development, so we are full of hope that we will be empowered by the jury to continue.
