Inspiration
When people (especially females) are feeling down they always want someone to encourage them and let them now that they can do it, so our game allows you to feel accomplished even when you get a question wrong
What it does
It is a game that sets your avatar on a journey full of encouragement, with each question you gain coins which are then converted to usd and donated to https://donate.worldvision.org/gift-catalog/girls-women. Our goal was to make it something calming and cute that would be nice for a short break.
How we built it
We first talked amongst ourselves and continued adding details as we started our rough draft by drawing and then coding it into Replit
Challenges we ran into
It was confusing to make the buttons take us to an internal section. It was also a little difficult to upload pictures
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'm very proud to have figured out how to link a button to an internal section after many attempted trials. We are proud to have been able to work together and finish a few hours before the deadline.
What we learned
We have learned how to upload an image into Github so that we can get a public link. We also learned how to collaborate on replit
What's next for Bee You
We would like to add a function where you can chat with other players and encourage each other
