Bedtime Bot

Our friend Douglas can't help but stay up until the crack of dawn every morning. We wanted to help him. So we made Bedtime Bot.

What it does

Bedtime Bot enforces a strict bedtime for everybody in your Discord server. It server mutes everybody from bedtime until a set wake-up time. When bedtime rolls around, it plays a soothing lullaby in the most populated voice chat. No more late night conversations!

How we built it

We used discord.py to interface with Discord's API. Bedtime Bot continuously checks the time, and when bedtime rolls around, it mutes everybody in the server and makes an announcement. In the morning, another announcement is made, and everybody can speak again.
