Inspiration
R-Kioski needs REGULAR QUALITY PEOPLE- who necessarily don´t think about becoming millionaire, but would appreciate the semi-autonomy, which the franchising model offered by R-kioski provides. They would need to be excited to take the experience on but would understand the work one needs to put in it to gain from the experience. Heavy advertising sends a signal that there are problems finding franchisees and possibly with mentoring. In reality, the support system and mentorship provided by R-Kioski are on very high level according to former franchisees and franchising organisations. In comparison to other franchising opportunities, R-Kioski start-up costs are very low but when having no comparison, this may get overlooked.
What it does
The purpose of **Be a he-R-o to help people identify traits that are necessary for becoming a franchisee — traits they already possess.
Be a he-R-o helps people who would not otherwise consider themselves being entrepreneurial types reconsider the option of becoming a franchisee in an non-committal way. Finding an everyday he-R-o franchisee.
Be a he-R-o consists of an ad on a water bottle, which purpose is to engage people from all walks of life to consider that becoming a franchisee could be part of their immediate future.
How I will built
We created an easy path for people, who would might miss the opportunity of becoming an franchisee when looking at job boards.
We chose a tangible object, the spring water bottle as a medium for the message targeting these people with matching characteristics. The message on the bottle would lead to an information web page with clear introduction of what R-kioski franchising model is about.
The water bottle has the advantage of being useful throughout the day. The ad and information on it get more attention, since water bottle might stay with the user for more than the few seconds most ads typically get. The recyclable water bottle can also act as a reminder of the ad when it is seen again when the bottle is taken for recycling station.
Challenges I ran into
Finding the right approach was one of the challenges. It might be hard and also scary for a person to imagine themselves as franchisees. Our project aimed to lower the threshold for entering the path of becoming a successful franchisee.
We learned a lot about franchising business in Finland. We also learnt about the challenges and possibilities in this field.

Making the print ready version of the bottle label and design a version of the information page.
