Inspiration
So we wanted to do something fun that everybody could enjoy so we decided to make a sort of retro arcade-like website.
What it does
In the website we have a home page along with links to a pong game and a tic-tac-toe game, and in the future we plan to add snake as well.
How we built it
We decided to build this website using javascript, HTML, and CSS. As for the host we don't know if we really want to host it on a server yet or cloud, since we are still very new at web dev.
Challenges we ran into
As I hinted previously, this Is the first website we both created that included backend. My partner, konrad, has made a static website but has never touched javascript, and I (Kevin) haven't ever programmed in javascript or HTML. So both of us were very new to this
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I'd say we are proud of just even attacking this project, compared to everybody else we have very little knowledge in web dev so the fact that we even made something is pretty cool.
What we learned
I'd say we both learned a lot about web dev and git seeing how this was also both our first repos on github.
What's next for Beavs Arcade
I plan to implement a snake game over spring break and maybe sometime in the future add more games.
