We noticed that there was a demographic that was in need of memory games. The current market either condescends to their clients, or they charge a ridiculously large fee to use their product.
We offer free web based memory games to help people that have suffered from strokes rebuild their mental fortitude.
Getting the database to run on the school servers was a huge challenge, so much so that we elected to forgo the schools servers and use a free public server.
We are proud of the amount of games, UI, art, and programming that we were able to accomplish in such a short time. The look and design of the site has come together in a clean and precise manner.
Apart from learning that aligning things in web dev is probably the hardest thing that a human can do, we learned how to better prepare, time wise, in the future. We learned the importance of getting a strong plan and good design from the get go, will help save time and frustration going forward.
The idea has been tossed around of continuing the site and making it a truly beneficial piece of software for people who are suffering with Aphasia.
