Inspiration
As roommates and best friends we enjoy sharing products and post-grad wanted a way to keep up with each others beauty routines.
What it does
Allows user to create profiles, virtually organize their products, and share them with the Beauty Bag community.
How we built it
Using x-code, swift, and Sephora APIs
Challenges we ran into
Running the API and gathering valid data.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The whole app in general as it is something that we are looking forward to using in our everyday lives. But for steph, more specifically, she is really proud of being able to run the API.
What we learned
We learned how to streamline the process with strong communication and organizations. We had many ideas, but collaborating on the same project with Xcode is often pretty hard. As a result, we turned to communication to implement our ideas.
What's next for Beauty Bag
Lots of things! We hope to install and AI chatbot, get the camera/scanner running so users can add products just by scanning the barcode, and make it a proper social media app. We hope to complete it fully and deploy it to the app store.
