Inspiration

As students, we know it's hard to stay focused—hence the many existing productivity solutions on the market. However, the reason we find ourselves cycling through so many different solutions is because they fail to give a true sense of ownership to users. With Beary Productive, we take inspiration from some of the most popular P2E games of today to give users the chance to earn collectibles they truly own, instantly making the art of focusing easier and more engaging.

What it does

This game is rooted in the very core of blockchain itself; crowdsourced verification. Users can start productivity sessions with other users, and earn tokens or collectibles. However, they also act as active verifiers for one another; helping to prevent users trying to game the system.

How we built it

React, HTML, CSS, Solidity, Polygon, and a great sense of design.

Challenges we ran into

Taking on the web3 space with no prior experience, trying to integrate our new token, HNY, into the web2 frontend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created our own token!... and a lot of cute bears.

What we learned

Web3 development principles; while we didn't get to do everything we planned, this was a fast tracked learning process of understanding blockchain development.
