The inspiration

The inspiration behind BearChat came from the Cloudforce prompt to create a chatbot that helps students explore the admissions process and gather information about your university.

What it does

BearChat uses Azure OpenAI with a GPT 3.5 turbo trained model to get text from an input.

How we built it

We built it using Azure with the GPT 3.5 turbo trained model, and given contextual data from the future students section

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges deploying a model on the Azure service, along with the web scraping giving issues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the webscraping script that provided context to the model.

What we learned

We learned skills such as JavaScript

BearChat will go on to accommodate current students and alumni
