Inspiration

Parent's busy schedules

What it does

Allows parent's to set links for designated times that will automatically open at those times so that they do not need to constantly watch their kid doing work.

How I built it

We built it through the Chrome Extension Developer Pack. We also utilized JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Challenges I ran into

Chrome has very strict security protocols that limited us from implementing JavaScript functions directly into the HTML documents.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We worked through numerous hour-long bugs and we were able to create a working project.

What I learned

We basically had no JavaScript experience before this hackathon. So, we learned how to use JavaScript while making this extension.

What's next for Bear Lock

We are planning on adding more features, such as the parents controlling their kids browser from their cell phones.
