Inspiration

In the modern world the number of people giving importance to their physical health has reduced rapidly, As we are more frequently confronted with health difficulties, fitness has become a vital part of our lives. When workouts are done in a systematic manner, the workouts become more effective and improves our physical health. This inspired us to create Be Fit AI.

What it does

Be Fit AI is the first of its kind application that acts a workout partner cum instructor, it not only provides workouts but also monitors and corrects it using AI technology which makes the application stand out from the other fitness apps. It also enables the users to conduct and participate in fitness tournaments where they can flew and show off their muscles and skills. It also provides the user with customized diet plans based on the their physique and needs. fitness enthusiasts can also compete with their pals and other fitness enthusiasts around the world and hustle to show up in the fitness leaderboard. In whole this will turn out to be the app that every fitness enthusiast would like to have and use.

How we built it

The front end is made with html, css, bootstrap and javascript, while the backend and the ML models are made with the help of python, django, opencv and tensorflow. sqlite is used for the database and figma for designs.

Challenges we ran into

completion of the project within 36 hours was the biggest challenge we ran into and we're happy that we came out successful, collaboration and training of ML models were also been a roller coaster ride for us.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we're proud of completion of the project within the given time and making a project that would be the best solution for all the fitness related problems we're facing.

What we learned

we learned time management, to collaborate and work as a team and a lot of new cool tech skills that'll help us a lot in the future.

What's next for Be Fit AI

we would like to spread our wings more and explore every possibility to make this app even more efficient and useful by adding more features and building on the existing features.
