Inspiration
Based off Kirby's Dream Course, Bazinga! Minigolf was created to have the same fun mechanics of non-linear minigolf, bringing along wacky obstacles, weird maps and fun local multiplayer.
What it does
Bazinga! Minigolf is a Unity game that can run on WebGL and Windows Desktop Environments.
How we built it
Lots of documentation reading, teamwork, and StackOverflow.
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out how to solve obscure problems with the Unity engine that were affecting our game. Lack of sleep.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Everything! We had some fun making and figuring out how to approach this project, and the reward of having a working, completed game is very satisfying. We were also able to effectively manage what jobs each teammate would spend their time working on, and were very efficient throughout the whole process.
What we learned
Lots of stuff about Unity, and the importance of a good varied skill-set and team dynamic.
What's next for Bazinga! Minigolf
We're thinking of making the sequel, Bazinga! Minigolf Deus Ex Machina Boogaloo, sometime in the following 2 or 3 days. We're thinking of going towards a more Minecraft MMORPGFPSRTS type genre to appeal to a wider crowd.
