Bazaar

Bazaar is a platform that allows small businesses to expand to the Facebook Marketplace, coordinating and optimizing order pickup and providing insight into the local community's perceptions of their products. Using the NCR Order API to organize and manage customer orders and the Facebook Development Platform to manage customer interaction, business owners can maximize sales while minimizing the challenges associated with product delivery.

We trained a chatbot using DialogFlow, Firebase, and Cloud Compute to bargain with customers in real-time, organizing each order using NCR's API. We created an analytics dashboard for the owner to get information about orders, pickups, and pricing metrics at-a-glance. Using Google's Universal Sentence Encoder and Tensorflow Hub, we trained a classifier to recommend price adjustments based on conversation data.

By automating conversation and organizing orders, we eliminate the friction points that inhibit smaller business from expanding, allowing sellers to focus on their vision.
