Inspired by 360 degree videos, showing the full picture of the beach
What it does
Users upload their media to a folder in google drive. Ingesting a video or panoramic image, the file is annotated with markers regarding the number of people who pass through at a given time, uniquely tracking them and outputting the number to Firebase.
How we built it
Media stored in google drive is ingested by google colab and the resulting output is stored to Firebase. All detection is conducted through open CV and a face detection model
Challenges we ran into
Uniquely tracking individuals instead of simply counting per frame
