💡 Inspiration
It started at 2 AM. A close friend wasn’t feeling well and had no one to talk to — no clinics, no hotlines, no help. That moment of helplessness made us ask:
“What if care could talk back?”
Baymax was born from this very real, very human moment. We didn’t want to build another chatbot — we wanted a voice that listened, responded, and actually gave a damn.
A doctor that feels present — even when no one else is.

Baymax is a voice-first, AI-powered healthcare companion that lets users speak naturally about how they’re feeling and receive real-time, medically-informed guidance.

🛠️ How we built it
We combined some of the best modern tools to bring Baymax to life:
- Whisper for real-time voice transcription
- ElevenLabs for empathetic, human-like voice replies
- OpenAI GPT fine-tuned for clinical conversations
- Supabase for auth, storage, and user context
- RevenueCat for premium subscriptions
- Bolt & Spline for a lightning-fast, beautiful 3D frontend
- React + Tailwind to keep it clean, responsive, and mobile-first
Every layer — from tech to tone — was engineered with empathy.
🧱 Challenges we ran into
- Getting the voice timing right without weird delays
- Tuning AI to sound caring but not fake
- Managing HIPAA-like privacy standards
- Handling accents and background noise in real speech
- Making premium features feel optional, not locked-up
