Inspiration

From the very beginning, we all knew that we wanted to work with computer vision. After a bit of brainstorming, we came upon the basic idea of a robot that simply follows a single target. We definitely had some grandiose ideas, but for the most part, we agreed that the robot would fulfill the role of helper for the lesser abled and infirm.

What it does

Our robot follows the person it is assigned to through and offers peace of mind to guardians who would otherwise be unable to watch over their loved ones as a result of cost or distance. The robot monitors the actions that its ward makes and is able to determine whether or not that person is in distress.
