Inspiration

The hackathon started just after Lunar New Year in Vietnam. After enjoyed a wonderful Tet (Lunar New Year in Vietnamese), I tried Bau Cua, which is a traditional Vietnamese game. I played it a lot during this festival and I kind of addicted to it ( just fake money, not a type of gamble). I decided to make it to participate in this SummerHack

What it does

It is a web-version of Bau Cua, which the player will bet on one or more animals, and then we start the game, 3 dices will be randomly thrown and get 3 animals (they can be the same). If it is the same with what you chose, you will get the money.

How we built it

I built it mainly with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Challenges we ran into

Actually I am not too confident about web creation because my major is Data Science, and JavaScript is not the language I use everyday (most of the time I use Python).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Thing I am proud the most is that I can finish the project and submit it. I do not think that I can finish it on my own.

What we learned

I learnt a lot of things about the syntax in JavaScript

What's next for BauCua

I want to add some features like get the data in 1000 rounds, and then try to analyze it to see which combination will appear the most. Not only that, I want to make a multiplayer feature so that I can play it with my friends.
