BathingMobile: App to
Beaches Capacity in COVID-19 Bathing period

Touristic beaches is not any more accessible for bathers and tourists due to covid-19 The pandemic crisis created a big recession in the activities of the business in these areas such as restaurants and hotels. Knowing the exact number of available positions in the beach during the day offers the bathers the chance to go to the beach without putting their health in danger. This is exactly what inspired us to make BathingMobile. In that way, touristic beaches are open again to the bathers keeping their safety.

What it does

BathingMobile gives to the tourist a spatial information about the safe beaches in the nearby area and the available positions into them. The covid-19 visiting capacity of each beach is defined by coastal experts based on scientific evidences and the beach geomorphological characteristics. Also, tourists get information about the existing restaurants, cafes, beachbars in the beach and can book their place. Also information about umbrellas and seats are given. Beaches database is composed by bathing directive monitoring beaches, blue flag beaches and our own existing beaches database. The beach managers (each assigned for each beach ie hotel managers, lifeguards, citizens, restaurant owners) should update the free positions in the beach into the app mornings and afternoons. At the same time, the bathers should mention by entering the BathingMobile app that they use a beach or a pool by giving their coordinates and get their Bathingmobile electronic ticket.The electronic tickets should coincide with the available positions mentioned by the beach managers. The app should give regular updates about the notices, new rules and awareness posts regarding the beaches and pools use during the bathing period.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Bathingmobile will give the chance to the touristic areas based on the 3S (Sea, Sand, Sun) to reopen with full safety for the bathers (locals and tourists) and to assure that they are not overloaded. In that way also the whole touristic business is going to work with safety such as coastal restaurants, hotels, pools, cafes.

How I built it

Prototype is created by Antoine AAMARCHA, CEO Prisem.ai Try it out The prototype of the app is ready in : • Desktop mode https://console.prisme.ai/chatbot?id=18qwpH1kky&fullscreen=1 • Pluging mode to add in an existing web site (City, partners, restaurant ...) https://console.prisme.ai/chatbot?id=18qwpH1kky • Mobile App : Download Prisme.ai app, run it and fill Bathing Mobile at the beginning (quel est le nom de votre assistant). Then the app becomes Bathing Mobile en English. Data is real (5 first results) but the app asks the address but it's not used to filter data. Check restaurant is not implemented.

What's next for BathingMobile App

Will be trying to complete the app, reach more people by updating in different languages along with added features (custom search and sort , push notifications). This app fits perfect the needs of hotels, coastal municipalities, touristic areas, private beaches, coastal restaurants, beachbars, cafers and free pools.
