We wanted to create an application that simplified more complex processes of computing for less-advanced users. We were inspired by our recent interest in learning about batch scripting to utilize batch files to facilitate that simplification.

What it does

Although we did not finish, the batch controlled was intended to be a Python file that would be converted to an exe via py2exe, and installed from a website via Inno Setup Compiler. Once installed, the exe file would create and modify batch files in order to perform numerous tasks such as renaming, locating, and backing up files

How we built it

We built it using HTML coding, Carlos, the person who made the home page as well as putting more detail into was the most familiar with the HTML language was a huge part in implanting new pages and code that Ray and Jonahtan made. Joshua and Jake were the ones who were working on the backend using Python to make sure we could convert files with BATCH commands.

Challenges we ran into

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built this website in two days, learned a new coding language on the fly and had a great time solving problems we had with Python, we're just happy to have gotten it done.
