Inspiration
I am currently in comp 110, which is the very first coding class here at UNC. I am also a Statistics and Music double major, so I wanted to keep practicing my python because I know that it is a useful skill in statistics and data science. I have never done a full project or done any kind of front end development before, so I wanted to try my hand at making something. I am a bassoon player, and I love my studio and my bassoon friends, so I though that if I could make a functional app it would be nice to have something they could use. I spent a lot of time of the Streamlit website, just seeing what kind of functions they have and how I might use them. My coding expertise is very limited, so it was really helpful for me how intuitive they make everything. I was really proud of the fact that despite my inexperience I made something functional, and I'm sure all all of my bassoon friends will get. kick out of it. The hardest part for me was figuring out how to make there multiple pages, but eventually through trial and error I got there. I'm glad to know that front end development doesn't have to be as hard as I feared it would be. I'm also proud of myself for doing something new and trying my best.
