Basketwise explores conversational shopping with basket changes shown before they take effect. The web simulation uses local rules for supported requests, with preview, confirmation, cancellation and undo.
The latest source adds a voice-interaction simulation with readback, plus shared-cache API and persistence adapters with validation that fails closed when checks do not pass. Real microphone input and audio playback remain untested. The 500-item seed dataset has not been imported.
Built with React, TypeScript and Vite, with Capacitor for the app structure, this remains a web simulation. Live retailer-price collection and AWS integration are disabled. It does not make purchases or establish savings, and it is not connected to a genuine Alexa+ backend.
The embedded video demonstrates the earlier typed basket-editing simulation. It does not demonstrate the newer voice-simulation or shared-cache additions.
The latest local verification passed 662 tests, lint, type checks and the build. Next steps are to demonstrate the new workflow, test actual microphone/audio behavior and resolve service and data-use requirements before enabling external integrations.
