Inspiration
I wanted to make an RPG similar to Horizon Zero Dawn, I knew in the time given I wouldn't be able to get every mechanic in that I wanted but knew I could get a decent playable game out of it!
What it does
In my game you take on the titans; 3 giant robotic basketballs that have stolen the golden basketballs - 3 basketballs essential to the balance of the basketballing world.
How we built it
Using unity with c# and mixamo for 3d models.
Challenges we ran into
Many coding errors; spent a lot of time on collision as happens with most games. Also ran into multiple challenges at the start as I was trying to make my own models but the animation was terrible.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
To have a fully working game in the time given!
What we learned
To prioritize my time better and perhaps not accidentally sleep for 10 hours on the final day.
What's next for Basketball Titans
This project will probably need a little TLC to make it the quality I would like to have in my portfolio but it's mostly complete!
