Inspiration

I've never been to a hackathon before, so I thought it would be cool to do a project for fun to find out what the experience would be like. I wanted to make a speaker because I have experience with learning about electionics and wanted to expand on that experience.

What it does

It plays audio.

How we built it

I used a copper wire and magnate to create a speaker with paper and cottected it to a plastic board. I added a audio amplifer to add more volume.

Challenges we ran into

It was hard figuring out how to set up the project since I did not have exactly the same materials as I thought I would use. Getting the circuit to run was also a struggle. I also had to pick up on the fly certain skills like soddering.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I was able to do something, since I've struggled a lot with completing projects in the past. I'm happy that I was able to do something, and that I was able to get help when I needed it in order to actually complete the project.

What we learned

First, I leanred that it can be hard finding out the perfect way to do something, and that its good to go with what happens and to not worry about doing everything perfectly correctly. Though trying to figure out how to make a speaker on my own, I realized that I had to improvise, and add new components to get the machine to work.

What's next for Basic Speaker

Not sure haha
