I chose this idea because I had a difficult time picking up HTML, as I felt the explanations and teaching methods I was presented with were unhelpful.
What it does
It is a website held together by buttons that link to each other. Learners will try to predict the visible content for a section of HTML code, and they are assisted by lessons that teach them about the different aspects of the HTML code.
How I built it
I built it using HTML files, and I hosted all of these online through AWARDSPACE, so I was able to link each page to another using URLs.
Challenges I ran into
The biggest problem that I ran into was doing the actual hosting of the files, as I had a difficult time figuring out which software to use to host these files and the custom subdomain.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am content with the way that the files were interconnected, which was through URLs.
What I learned
I learned a lot about website hosting, as well as HTML code in general.
What's next for Basic HTML Tutorial In HTML
I will continue to add more lessons, as I had only gotten 5 lessons.
