Inspiration
Alexa can give you the latest baseball scores, but if you want to dig into the current standings you need more.
What it does
Request the current standings for a specific baseball team or division.
How I built it
I wrote an Amazon Lambda, which executes every 15 minutes, to fetch the latest data from XMLStats and save the data to my DynamoDB.
The Alexa Skill invokes another Lambda, which requests the data from my DynamoDB and formats it.
