How we built it

During the development of the Base44 Treasure Hunt system, I learned how encoding can be used creatively to make game interactions more secure, engaging, and systematic. I was inspired by the idea of transforming a traditional treasure hunt into a digital mystery-solving experience where every clue needs to be decoded before being understood. This concept motivated me to explore how Base44 encoding works, how data can be converted and reconstructed, and how clues can be generated dynamically for each level. One of the biggest challenges I faced was formatting strings into Base44 properly and ensuring that decoding returned the exact original text without errors. I also had to think about user flow, clue difficulty, and how to make the game fun yet fair. Overcoming these challenges helped me understand encoding logic, improve my problem-solving skills, and build a more interactive and innovative project.
