Inspiration

As college students, we have had instances of friends going out wanting a "chill night" and end up spending way over their budget. The things is that we cannot make logical decisions when we are intoxicated. This is made to help those people. Plus we are under 21 so we don't really want to incriminate ourselves :D

What it does

BarTab is a smart app that tracks your expenses while you're out having fun. As you spend more, it will give you a constant update

How we built it

We used a combination of JavaScript and CSS to link the Capital One API to our login software. The login page will the verify your account and then take you to the second page which will contain all the necessary functions to have a safe trip to any bar you want!

Challenges we ran into

During the hackathon, two of our teammates had to leave early, leaving a backlog of work for the remaining three members. We had to step up and work harder to complete the project on time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to complete the UI which contained all the required information for our project without making it look very cluttered. Along with this, we also made the design very modernistic in nature.
