What it does
Transmits pre-recorded audio files directly to your ear using a keypad.
How we built it
Connected an ESP-32 to a keypad and mapped each key to a specific phrase/command. We used python to make a web API.
Challenges we ran into
We struggled to incorporate a mic into our design because Raspberry Pis lack analog pins, forcing us to pivot toward a keypad to input audio to the Raspberry Pi. We also struggled with making the front end look polished and getting React to work well.
