Banking & Budgeting Website

Inspiration

We wanted to create a banking website to help students with budgeting, including features like setting budgets, alerts when close to spending limits and making a report of your spending.

What it does

• Shows recent transactions
• Shows personal account details
• Pie chart of your spending by category

How we built it

• Server: Flask (Python)
• Website/Frontend: AngularJS (TypeScript)

Challenges we ran into

• Downloading PDF reports
• Sending emails

• Practice using Twilio to send SMS messages (not used in the final version)
