Bandcast

Bandcast is a mobile web application that helps you organize and connect with your friends at Lollapalooza. You can send status updates, tips and private messages, share schedules, find friends, and easily connect with new friends by scanning their unique QR code provided by the app. Unlike other social networks, Bandcast is tailored specifically to Lollapalooza so you won't have to filter out the noise of non-Lollapalooza status updates. Because the data network is often slow at the festival, every effort has been made to cache as much data as possible. And if the data networks go down you can still check in by calling in over the phone. Bandcast also has a regular website so you can set up your schedule and manage your friends before you get to Lollapalooza. The Bandcast mobile app uses Sencha Touch and works on Apple iOS 3+, Android 2.1+, and BlackBerry 6+ devices.
