Working from home has hindered the onboarding experience for new employees during these tough times. building new connections and having a sense of belonging were some of the concerns highlighted by employees in our research.

What if we use gamification for the remote onboarding experience?

To make it more engaging and easy for everyone to build their network within the organisation.

What it does

Bond-o is an adaptive engagement platform, which provides a fun way for new employees at any level to quickly understand the new working environment and allow them to socialise with their peers remotely.

How we built it

We used different creative approaches to help us understand the user's thoughts and designed Bond. o v1.0. to optimise the onboarding experience for new employees, helping them to quickly learn about the company's culture, regulations and to connect with colleagues in a more fun and uncomplicated way.

Comments from our validation session with HR:

She had several working experiences with different global companies. She thinks our product is very promising, not only for the new employees but also as an effective and interesting tool for HR to publish and update company regulations, especially for large scale companies. Having this tool would be helpful for her to reduce her workload from the repetitive tasks delivering.

What's next for Bond.o

  • More functions and features for the employees in general
  • Set different stages challenges for users(based on the time they work in the company to assign different tasks)
  • The feedback loop from managers and employees
  • Rewarding system (link to the companies existing perk system)
