Band-MNG

Inspiration

I worked with a record company and as a musician and expericened first hand how hard it could be managing bands.

What it does

Right now, the user has the ability to create a band and add shows to it.

How I built it

I built this with django.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into a lot of challenges mainly because I was learning django. One example is separating the user information from others.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This is my first user project. I was happy to have a finished working product. I started with nothing and now my webpage is populated with information users directly created I’m excited however about doing another project

What I learned

I learned a whole lot about development. I also realized first hand why I must write clean code. It was so many files to keep track of. I wouldn’t touch some folders for days.

What's next for Band-MNG

I want to eventually make forums and maybe a full on social media site just for musicians to connect with each other. Maybe even play with each other through some other software I create.
