Inspiration
We had a cyber guy and some software guys. We wanted to make something achievable to our skill set that was cyber and software oriented.
What it does
It manages users and Encrypts passwords to store and displays them
How we built it
We started with create user, then user login, then worked on the display password.
Challenges we ran into
Throughout the challenge we lost a team member that had experience with encryption, leading to us figuring it out on our own. We wanted to hand make the entire webpage, not wanting to use frameworks such as React. The workflow was an issue as we weren't able to work on the same file at the same time, leading to constraints in the amount of production at once. It also led to unwanted overwrite and deletion of the file.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Amjad - Being able to do both back-end and front-end.
Matt - made the encryption.
Mark - With not much experience with web development but still able to contribute.
What we learned
We learned how to teach Mark, they say teaching is the best way to learn.
What's next for Bams Password
Amjad - Finish Functionality
Matt - Add docker and kubernetes to the infrastructure stack
Mark - Revisit this as I progress through school.
