Inspiration
Inspired by Jet Lag: The Game, where Youtubers race around the world by completing geographical challenges. Inspired by the recent 2023-2024 MLB baseball season. The game simulates a race to visit all 30 MLB stadiums.
What it does
The project integrates real-time flight data to plan your trip. It comes with an interface to keep track of flights, with a built in itinerary. Your trip is visualized on the map.
How we built it
We built the frontend with React, Tailwind, and the backend with next.js. We collected real-time flight data from the Amadeus API.
Challenges we ran into
Time constraints made it difficult to implement as many features as we wanted to implement. For instance, we wanted to add a multiplayer agent to race against, but sadly this did not materialize.

Integrating the flight data into an interactive map.

GW learned how to use react.
