Inspiration

Improving typing speed through games is genuinely fun - but most existing typing games felt outdated and uninspiring so I decided to try One-Shot prompt and build this game

What it does

BalloonType Challenge transforms typing practice into an addictive arcade experience.

Core Gameplay:

Colorful balloons float up from the bottom of the screen, each containing a word or sentence
Players type the text to "pop" the balloon with satisfying particle explosions
Miss a balloon and it escapes to the top, reducing your lives and adding pressure
The faster and more accurately you type, the higher your score climbs

What Makes It Special:

Three difficulty modes (Chill, Turbo, Lightning) that adjust balloon speed and complexity
Real-time WPM tracking with live performance graphs showing improvement
Combo multipliers that reward consecutive correct entries (2x, 3x, 5x points!)
Power-ups like Slow Motion, Multi-Pop, and Score Boost that add strategic depth
Achievement system with 15+ badges (Speed Demon, Perfect Accuracy, Streak Master)
Daily streaks with freeze mechanics that keep players coming back

Automatic screenshot generation of your best scores with beautiful, shareable graphics

How we built it

I used AI to brainstorm the viral app idea and then create a comprehensive prompt with AI and tweaked it based by my requirements I participated for One-Shot Prompt.
