Balances

Inspiration

A problem my friends and I have had in the past is the issue of trying to figure out how much money we have. In order to do that, we would have to log into our bank account, get that balance, log into our PayPal account, get that balance, and then log into any other accounts or count our bills. Thus, I decided to make this app which makes the process easier.

What it does

Balances takes the balances from each of your accounts through their respective APIs and presents it to you in a nice centralized sum.

How I built it

I used xCode to develop my app using my new skills from yesterday's Learnathon.

Challenges I ran into

I had some major issues with getting the PayPal API to work and give me values, however, I was able to figure it out with the help of a Mentor

What's next for Balances

I will add API support for Bank Accounts as well as other accounts
