What it does
It is supposed to provide graphs for projected balance and projected spend. Due to oversights and mistakes in programming, it does not do this.
The GUI is good and works, but due to time constraints we haven't been able to link everything to our GUI.
We wanted to add data about CO2 emissions and categories of spend but due to time constraints we were unable to do that.
How we built it
We populated a CSV each took charge of a module and wrote appropriate functionality in Python, collaborating over github to make sure our project was in sync
Challenges we ran into
Accomplishments that we're proud of
GUI is good
What we learned
Be more proactive with project planning. Be explicit with communication at all points so that everyone knows what the actually need their functions to do and provide. Etc.
What's next for Balance Projection Utility
Martin: On a personal note, I may try to implement this on my own time in the future, though without mapping it to data obtained from the capital-one API but rather a local database.
