BakPak

Inspiration

The hassles that everyday students go through while trying to be successful in school.

What it does

BakPak allows users to upload, store, and quickly access documents and notes from current and past courses. It allows users to share this information, create study groups and in person meet up sessions throughout a community of students at any university.

How we built it

The app was built using Swift 3 and Firebase as the backend service.

Challenges we ran into

Trying to narrow down our ideas for the app into a simple and feasible concept given the time restraint.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a clean looking, functional app; Developing a nice pitch to compliment the app; Collaborating and working together as a team to bring to life a vision

What we learned

We learned the importance of having different points of view and listening to feedback and using it constructively (even if you don't initially agree).

What's next for BakPak

BakPak hopes to eventually expand its features to offer textbook exchanges/purchases, drop-in conference call options, and standardized test prep (LSAT, MCAT, etc.).
