Inspiration
Baker Hughe's Data and Datathon!
What it does
It provides useful information related to a client's plant. Specifically, it provides information on overall engine power over time, average up time for each engine, the thermal efficiency for each engine over time, and the average c02 emissions for each engine.
How we built it
It was built completely using RMarkdown and RStudio. The following packages were used for this project.
- flexdashboard
- ggplot2
- tidyverse
- maps
- fs
- stringr
- dyplr
- leaflet
- xts
- dygraphs
- plotly
Challenges we ran into
Learning how to create dashboards in 24 hours was quite the challenge; however, I believe I made some decent use of my time and learned quite a bit!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Quite frankly, saying that I was able to successfully submit my project on time was quite an accomplishment. My goal is to bring the use of data science into the field of educational psychology and by completing this challenge, I feel I'm a step closer to my goal.
What we learned
Making dashboards is quite fun! I also learned that I there's quite a bit that I still need to learn; however, this only makes my passion for the discipline that much stronger.
What's next for Baker Hughes Data Visualization Project
I would love to learn how to implement more clients into my dashboard.
