Inspiration
- We believe that personal health management is of utmost importance. In our busy daily life, we take care of our professional engagements and forget to pay attention to our health. That’s why we really liked Metix challenge and that is what was driving us throughout the hackathon.
What it does
- This is a simplified version of our main idea to create a web app with the goal of efficiency and fast medical assistance. The web app is supposed to get a patient’s data and send it to the specified by the patient doctor. The doctor gets data and generates a response. Our main purpose is to make health management as easy as possible. If you need more information about what our full idea was, we will gladly discuss it with you.
How We built it
- We started by brainstorming ideas in answer to the question at hand. We then created a diagram with all of the components in order to divide the workload most efficiently. Before we started coding, we created a schema to make sure the different parts of the project would work together when completed by different team members. During the programming stage, we made sure to still collaborate. Unfortunately, the time wasn’t enough to complete our initial plan, however, after the programming stage, we could still connect all of our parts together, which were enough for demo purposes.
Challenges we ran into
- As we are just in the beginning of second year at university, we are clear that we lack experience and knowledge in the field. This being said, it posed a big challenge to think of a way we can present our idea in some functioning manner. However, we managed to come up with a concept for an app which might really be helpful if considered on an enterprise level. The idea of enhancing the communication between people and their doctors is vital for everyone. It will surely ease the process of obtaining adequate treatment, choosing the correct doctor without the usual hassle.
