Inspiration
We wanted to create something creepy for halloween.
What it does
When the badUSB is plugged in or the power shell command is run, the computer downloads an image of a cat, creepy monster and sound. All tabs are minimised, and the volume is set to 50. It first shows the image a cat, which acts as a fakeout, but as soon as any mouse movement is detected a Jumpscare occurs.
How we built it
One team member set up the Flipper Zero as badUSB while the other coded the script it would run.
Challenges we ran into
Neither of us had experience making a badUSB or with any of the technologies used: Flipper Zero, power shell scripting, ducky script, etc. More specific issues were that we couldn't get the images and sound to play sometimes.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Managed to make the project executable without needing to have a USB.
What we learned

What's next for BadUSB Jumpscare
Planning on increasing the mount of images and also add more sounds.
