Inspiration

I wanted to utilise Polkadot's low gas fees for the creator economy

What it does

It lets creators publish gated content that only subscribers can unlock. Creator dhashboard lets them track their earnings at one glance. Users can subscribe to their favourite creators and they payment will get streamed throug the month.

How I built it

I started from the unkathon.xyz boilerplate and built from there.

Challenges I ran into

This was the first time I worked on ink or rust code and had no prior experience in polkadot. Hence an entire day went in just figuring out the low level layers of inkathon and pop cli. LLms also started halucinating on seeing those issues. With the help of mentors at roots meetup this problem was finally debugged and then I could compile and deploy the contract next day.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This was the first time I worked on ink and was able to build this in 2 days. Now I am confident of working on any rust based chain. I did not give up even when faced with tooling issues on a stack i had never worked on before.
