Inspiration

Small businesses and content creators often have plenty of product photos and videos but struggle to consistently produce engaging marketing content. Creating captions, campaign ideas, and social media posts takes time and marketing expertise. We wanted to build an AI-powered assistant that turns existing business media into structured marketing campaigns within minutes.

What it does

BackGen AI is an AI-powered marketing workspace that converts uploaded business images and videos into structured marketing campaigns.

Users simply upload their media, describe their business, and the AI generates:

Platform-ready captions Hashtags Call-to-actions Marketing campaign ideas Content organized into structured campaigns

Generated media and AI responses are securely stored using Backblaze B2, allowing users to revisit and manage their campaigns anytime.

How we built it

We built BackGen AI using:

Next.js TypeScript Tailwind CSS OpenAI Genblaze SDK Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage Vercel

OpenAI powers the intelligent content generation, while Genblaze orchestrates AI workflows and Backblaze B2 provides scalable storage for uploaded media and generated marketing assets.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was designing a workflow that feels conversational while handling media uploads, AI processing, and cloud storage seamlessly. We also focused on structuring AI output into complete campaigns instead of isolated captions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Built an end-to-end AI marketing workflow. Successfully integrated cloud storage into the AI pipeline. Created a clean and intuitive user interface. Generated organized marketing campaigns rather than one-off AI responses. Designed a scalable architecture suitable for future production use.
