We were inspired a bit by the twitch gaming community and did what we could to do the same thing for sports as Twitch did for e-sport. We want to take live betting into the fast moving and quickly expanding world of screen casting and e-sports.

What it does

It's a merge between Twitch and William Hill, inviting newcomers into the betting community and simultaneously letting experienced gamblers choose their own favourite commentary. We let broadcasters use our service to comment on live events and gambling. The platform makes it easy for them to share their betslips by adding the bets to a dynamic "Back the bet"-button. Following the broadcasters advice becomes simple and allows you to share the gambling excitement with the other followers in the feed. The simplicity of the platform invites new customer segments to the live betting experience. It becomes a stepping stone for people who enjoy the thrill of gambling, but lack the knowledge needed to sports betting.

How we built it

We built a website served by a node.js backend. We integrated's services and added the live betting functionality of the William Hill API by building our own node module.

Challenges we ran into

Having too many features we wanted in the app, forcing us to kill our darlings in some cases. We really wanted to support call-ins to our Broadcasters via Twilio, but there simply was not enough time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

How well it connects the live betting services of William Hill and the broadcasting platform of Twitch.

What we learned
