What a whirlwind hackathon! Definitely got the blood flowing with the team members in multiple locations working 24h and then coming down literally to the last minutes of submission.

Many lessons learnt and the biggest of all is that we as people want to come together and help the world move forward.

I’m proud of every team which contributes to such a noble cause. The mentors and organisers had their hands full but were there every second when needed and worked with each of us to make sure we were on track.

My flexi role was to help with team coordination and ideation, plus create video clip (1st time) for the project.

I learned a lot under pressure here. We also hope to continue the work we have created this far as the product will help institutions mobilise in this time.

Peter Yiangou
My main contributions were on originating Risk matrix idea, developing this idea, and with Lelah, with the help of the mentor Marc, improving the questionnaires from a government-toned one to be user friendly. I also began a low fidelity prototype with Google slides where Lelah and Sue collaborate, analysed user journey and documented the application process and logic.

Ann K. Chou
technologist & visual artist who holds the base for digital health (a.k.a clinical application analyst in my job title).
My contribution to this project was being the creator of the challenge, recruiting team members, providing overall big picture, facilitating the brainstorming sessions and support as needed. It was great to have individuals with varied backgrounds chip in and contribute to this important challenge. It was great to see the project have a deliverable especially with the risk matrix within 48hrs. Kudos to each team member. Together we can beat the Virus!

Manobhiram Nellutla
I work on the technical side of our project to create a worldwide hosted demo
to show the presentation and the flow of our application. We used NodeJS and Angular to create a quick, user friendly interface
and being able to answer the questionnaire. The advantage of Angular framework is to produce a website responsive visible anywhere no matter the device on which you answer.

Vincent Baylly
My contribution to this project was mainly on the side of research and content creation for developing specific back to work protocols. As a team, we were able to collaborate almost seamlessly as we had a collective vision for the project. It was fun to be able to learn and adapt the project with the help of eager to help mentors and the team members

This hackathon exposed me to a team-building and problem solving way of working. This method is very open and adapts quickly. I went into this project thinking I would apply and develop technical skills. During the course, I learned that observing others' communication styles, collaboration styles, and how their contributions reflect their abilities and interests was more interesting. And inspiriting. I am grateful to have been part of a hard-working team. I will apply what I've learned here to future projects with flexibility and contribute more actively. It was a fun exercise to push my knowledge and experience on User Experience, User Research, Prototyping, Wireflow and Wireframing; those skills which I lack opportuniites to apply and practise at my day work in "Operation". The communication and collaboration platforms work well; which I was glad as well because I do face unique challenges living with hearing disability. I will attach some pictures of showing that setup for speech-to-text and the work progress if I find out a way to do so.

From a basic idea to developing risk matrix criteria and a prototype in 48hrs is a huge feat. Not only this project will work for arts and culture industry but is easily scalable for any industry. This can be adapted and developed further into a provincial or federal site to help the economy get back to work. This will improve economy, community morale and the nations’ resolve to fight and come back after the pandemic.
