This interactive web application takes you on a stylish journey through time, showcasing the evolution of Western fashion from the year 1000 to 3000. And yes, that includes the future!

Inspiration

The popular Roblox game, Dress to Impress, inspired us to complete this project. We also took inspiration from Back to the Future for how we created and developed our application.

What it does

This program showcases the evolution of Western fashion from the year 1000 to 3000. It includes historical representations as well as future representations!

How we built it

We used a combination of Java, Javascript, CSS, and HTML to create a website that depicts the timeline of Western fashion from the year 1000 to 3000.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges of having the HTML code work with the timeline format we were looking for, as well as combining Java to have it run with the HTML files. We also had trouble having the program run the file on non-defaulted web browsers on Windows, Linux, and Mac within our team.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the polished website that we were able to produce in the 36 hours we were given.

What we learned

We learned how to better use HTML and Java together, as well as how to develop a website using a combination of CSS, HTML, Java, and Javascript.

What's Next for Back to the Fashion

We plan on creating a time machine to further our understanding of Fashion in the Future, so as to better our accuracy with our timeline.
